The Sculptured Garden produces one-off hand made sculptural pieces of furniture for your garden. Each piece is made to order to fit your garden.

After many years of teaching Product Design and Sculpture, award winning Designer and Sculptor Graham Bevan has created "THE SCULPTURED GARDEN". Graham's philosophy that garden furniture should be sculptural entities which compliment both the planting and hard landscaping of the garden is both simple yet inspired; a theme clearly evident in each of his unique designs.

All sculptural pieces are made predominantly of concrete, the types of which used are dictated by the nature of the piece.

Unexpectedly, however you will find that most of Graham's sculptures are lightweight. If you have spent a lot of time and effort creating your garden just how you want it, but can't find the right seats or sculptures to add the finishing touches, then "THE SCULPTURED GARDEN" may have just what your looking for.

The difference with "THE SCULPTURED GARDEN" is that every piece is made to order, allowing you to have exactly what you want without any of the drawbacks that come with mass-produced pieces.

You control the form, the size and the colour (as far as current pigments allow). Graham will work with you individually every step of the way to ensure that the finished piece is everything you've always dreamed of. Everything is agreed with you before construction begins.

Because of the construction methods and the nature of concrete, your finished piece will normally be ready for delivery in approximately 10 weeks. All pieces are signed and numbered to guarantee their uniqueness. Graham also produces a standard range, which is again handmade to order, and therefore also signed and numbered. Coming soon will be some very exciting sculptures which feature both water and illumination, to add a further extra special element to your garden.

Bird comes from observing small birds flitting around the bushes in the garden, when sometimes the body of the bird and the stem behind it appear to fuse into one form.

Graham also makes sculptural pieces from found objects. "Conversation No 1"

The Garden Throne is a unique substantial piece that enables you to become the monarch of all you survey. Ideally placed to enjoy that special view of the garden or to look out over the landscape, if you are fortunate to have a spectacular view. These can be made as a pair.

The heads were a commissioned pair to sit in a large well-landscaped garden. Each one is nearly 5ft (150 cm) tall and they are watching over the flora and fauna of this beautiful garden in the north of England.

Leaf began life as a small discarded, crumpled and folded laurel leaf that had suffered the ravages of a wet winter. Tucked away under a small tree it becomes an ideal sanctuary from which you can watch the world go by

This slim chair is nearly 5ft (145 cm) high and features the introduction of extra colours to the piece - blue, black and gold. With it's heavily carved base this will fit perfectly into a situation where it is surrounded by large architectural plants

Splash is a smooth flowing piece that was originally based on the shape that water takes when it falls onto a rock only to rebound before falling to earth again.

Graham also makes sculptural pieces from found objects."The Stream No. 1"

This type of seat is intended for use in the smaller garden area which is mainly made up of hard landscaping. The image on the back of the seat can be formed to suit your situation.

Just fallen from the skies into your garden. Large enough to serve as a dining table or can be as small as a coffee table. It’s up to you.

A combination of a tall stalagmite form with an angular man made smooth seat projecting from it.

This seat would look good positioned near some tall soft planting. Especially attractive as a pair or small group.

Continuing the idea of the “Stones” this maquette is of “Reading Stones” the ideal place to relax and enjoy a good book or even the Sunday Papers.
